Air Track Collision Data

Use the data set from your 3rd tri period.  Create a scaled (ish) if chart for one of the trials.

For 1st hour, one person from your group needs to do one of the first three trials, a second person needs to do one of the trials from four through six, and the third person needs to do either trial seven or trial eight.

Here's the data for 1st hour.

For 2nd hour, one person from your group needs to do one of the first three trials, a second person needs to do one of the trials from four through six, and the third person needs to do either trial eight or trial nine.

Here's the data for 2nd hour.

Dealing with Angled Launches

Finding the Vx and Vy for a launch speed of 6.4 m/s at varying angles.  You can solve for the right triangle components by drawing to scale, or by mathing with Law of Sines or #SohCahToa

Physics Check

If you have some free time, go check out the XKCD called 'Hoverboard.'  If you move around in the comic, you'll eventually stumble upon the Washington Monument.  Use your skills to determine how realistic the physics within this comic is?  Collect some data, and report back!
